NEW SERMON SERIES
Sundays, Online @ 10AM
In the Bible, Jesus is referred to in many ways. Here are some… Almighty One, Alpha and Omega, Chief Cornerstone, Deliverer, Faithful and True, Good Shepherd, Great High Priest, Mighty One, Our Hope, Rock, Resurrection and the Life, The Door, The Way, Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace
Over the next several weeks, we will introduce scriptural ideas that remind us of WHO we are in God, WHAT we are promised as a child of God, and HOW to live victoriously in this life, all the while anticipating our eternal home, heaven!
- Invite family, friends and neighbors to view online also.
- Engage in the online experience by sharing, commenting, “liking” and asking questions!
- Prepare the elements for communion and have ready prior to the service – have your own form of juice and bread available for all in attendance with you.
- Set up to view the service on the largest available screen. Many can access YouTube from their televisions.
- View again – Remember you can view again anytime after the initial posting.
VALLEY MILLS’ SMALL GROUPS!
Small Groups are the perfect way to get connected at Valley Mills. By joining a small group, you can learn more about the Kingdom of God, participate in a fun activity, or find a fun group of people to study God’s Word with.
There are 3 types of small groups:
1) Life Groups meet in homes and focus on relationships and growing deeper in Christ together; 2) Bible Studies are informative groups that dive into God’s Word; and 3) Affinity Groups are gatherings of people getting together to engage in various activities (crafting group, board game group, etc.)
If you have an interest in joining any of these groups, have an interest in leading a group or have questions about existing groups, contact Joe McNeil, Spiritual Growth Coordinator, at email@example.com or at 317-856-3766.

VALLEY MILLS CHRISTIAN CHURCH’S
VALLEY OF HOPE | Addictions Support
Valley of Hope Addictions Support is our new ministry umbrella for our growing addictions, recovery, and family support services. These services include our faith-based 12 step program, our Parents of Addicted Loved Ones (PAL) program, our subsidized individual and family counseling services, and our partnership with the Decatur Township Drug-Free Coalition Recovery Coach program. Our Valley of Hope Addictions Support program is an example of needs-based evangelism and local missions right here in Decatur Township. For questions, please contact Robin Paul through the church office or visit the website to learn more HERE!
PAL (Parents of Addicted Loved Ones)
All Family Members Welcome to Attend
Every Thursday from 7:00 – 8:30 PM
People helping people through the woods. PAL groups meet weekly to educate, support and help each other with issues arising from loving someone with an addiction. Each PAL group is facilitated by a peer, someone walking the same path. While the focus is on parents with an addicted child, all family members and friends (age 18 and older) are welcome to attend PAL meetings. These weekly meetings are open to the community. Contact Robin Paul at 317-856-3766 or firstname.lastname@example.org
COUNSELING SERVICES AT VALLEY MILLS!
Pastoral staff are always willing to provide support and spiritual guidance at no cost, but sometimes life stressors result in the need for deeper psychotherapy with certified or licensed counselors who have specific training in understanding clinical etiology and bio-physical chemical imbalances.
Board Certified Pastoral Counselor (Dr. John Nolan) offers counseling appointments to anyone from Valley Mills Christian Church OR the community for a substantially reduced rate of $30 per one-hour session during his office hours at church on Wednesdays from 2-6 pm. To schedule an appointment, please contact Dr. Nolan at 765-676-5310. We hope that this initiative will bless our community members and families, as access to supportive emotional health services can be challenging.
Social Work Assistance: In addition to counseling sessions, the church also employs a part-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Robin Paul, that may be available to assist with short-term psycho-social needs and referrals, crisis intervention, and time-limited case management assistance for navigating complex medical and benefits systems that can feel overwhelming. Social work services (at a rate of $30 per one-hour session) may be consulted by calling the church office at 317-856-3766, or by emailing email@example.com.
