Bob Beltz has served as the Senior Minister of Valley Mills Christian Church since October of 2013. From 2002 – 2007, he served as the Worship Minister, coming back in 2013 to follow God’s call in his current role. Born and raised near Daytona Beach, Florida, he graduated from Florida Christian College of Kissimmee in 1983, where he met and married his college sweetheart, Robin. They have two girls, Amanda and Kristi, who are both married and serving the Lord in vocational ministry. Bob and Robin have been blessed with a grandson, Oliver, and a granddaughter, Harvie Rose.
One of Bob’s favorite scriptures is found in 2 Corinthians 12:9 – But He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.
Some of Bob’s favorite leisure activities include mowing the lawn, riding on his 4 wheeler, spending time with family, and attending various auto racing events. One thing people may not know is that several years ago Bob won 1st place in a “Faster Pastor” School Bus Race at Lincoln Park Speedway, Putnamville, IN.
Ezra Davis became the Student Minister at Valley Mills in 2014. He graduated from Kentucky Christian University in 2012 with a degree in Youth and Family Ministries. Ezra grew up in Mooresville, Indiana where he met his wife, Danielle. They have a daughter, Kensington, who has brought the duo to a wonderful family of three with a black lab named Irish to add to the fun. Ezra likes to hunt, fish and read. He is an avid Notre Dame and Indianapolis Colts fan.
Ezra is passionate about the ministry at Valley Mills and is excited to see where God is leading the students to become better Christ followers. One thing you might not know about Ezra is that he loves to people watch. “I always feels like somebody’s watching me…”

She is married to her high school sweetheart, Todd (who you may see on Sunday mornings behind the drums as part of the worship team), and together they have two adult children, Shelby and Mason. Recently, they were blessed to add a new son-in-law and daughter-in-law to their family. Tanya grew up in Louisville, KY but has traveled extensively during her husband’s 22-year career in the United States Navy — their time living in Guam was one of her favorite (and farthest!) places to live and was the birthplace of their son, Mason. As a recent ‘empty-nester’, she enjoys the outdoors and especially witnessing God’s beautiful creations while exploring Indiana with her husband on their Harley Davidson motorcycle.
Tanya has a heart for hospitality and welcoming newcomers and can be found most Sundays serving at the Welcome Center Table — be sure to stop by and introduce yourself!
