Alisha was born in Memphis, TN, but raised in west Michigan. Alisha interned as a worship leader at Resurrection Life Church in Grand Haven, MI. All her life she has loved singing and since elementary, she has been influenced by worship music, thus leading her to all her involvement in praise and worship teams over the last few decades. She loves and feels a strong purpose in using her God-given gifts and talents for the Lord's glory, and being her authentic self leading others into the presence of God. Alisha has been active on praise and worship teams since the age of 12, but stepped beyond being a volunteer and came on staff at VMCC in June of 2023. Alisha and her husband Chris have been married since October of 2008. They are blessed to have two children: Alexis, born in 2013, and Ryan born in 2015. Alisha loves being active outside: walking, hiking, golfing and biking. Alisha loves sushi! Alisha and her family are newer transplants to the Indianapolis area having moved here in March of 2022. Ask her about their sometime! She is extremely humbled to be on staff at VMCC.
