Robin is from Putnam County, a very small rural area called Belle Union. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Indiana University and Master of Science Degree in Social Work from Indiana University. Her favorite part of serving Christ in her role at VMCC is the PEOPLE! She loves being able to walk alongside others and share in their lives as they find and experience the hope that only comes from having a personal relationship with God. Robin has been on staff at VMCC for almost 9 years, but have served God in many areas throughout my youth and adult life as an active teen in a traveling gospel choir and then several years as an AWANA director leading elementary students to learn and hide the word of God in their hearts. Robin is married to Phil with two adult children (Shelbi & PJ) and 3 young grandsons. Robin loves to fish and enjoys spending as much time as possible on the lake chasing Crappie!  She also enjoys being outdoors in all of God's beautiful nature! As a child, her dream job was to be "the Love Boat Cruise Director (Julie)".  She does love to cruise though she has never made it into the cruise director role! "Happy people are not inherently happy; happy people chase and choose joy!".
